The pharmaceutical industry is undergoing a transformation, particularly in the biopharmaceutical sector, where batch sizes are decreasing, and products are not always packaged in traditional vials or syringes. For this reason, we have developed an initial proof of concept in the area of Automated Cryo-Vial Filling. We utilize a tabletop machine from Groninger as the foundation, which is serviced by a robot. Since the vials feature screw caps, our system is also equipped with a screwdriver to open and close the vials.
